Police Performance Management – National Research

By DPF Admin12th May 2014August 6th, 2019Area Updates, Latest News, Northern Updates, Southern Updates

A short survey is being conducted by a serving police officer studying for a PhD with Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. Part of the research involves gathering data about officers' experiences of police performance management across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland by asking a variety of officers to complete a short online survey.

The purpose of the survey is to see how people respond to different types of performance information, as well as to gain an insight into current day police performance management practices in the UK. ACPO, the Superintendents’ Association and the Police Federation in all four countries have all agreed to circulate the survey to their members; therefore, officers of all ranks have been invited to take part in the survey.

The survey can be accessed by clicking on the link below and should take no longer than about 10 minutes to complete.

All responses will be strictly anonymous – no information capable of identifying individuals will be collected. Please note that the link will only remain live until Tuesday 27th May 2014.

Many thanks for your assistance.
