IPCC’s Focus issue 8 now available

We have published issue 8 of Focus – practical guidance for police forces and other appropriate authorities on handling complaints, conduct matters, and death or serious injury matters.

The eighth issue, looking at when a complaint becomes recordable, is now available.


The IPCC oversees the police complaints system in England and Wales and sets the standards by which the police should handle complaints.
