Health and Safety Guide for Disabled People

Health and Safety legislation should not prevent disabled people finding or staying in employment and should not be used as a false excuse to justify discriminating against disabled workers.

The Health and Safety Executive seek to enable disabled people and those with health conditions, including mental health conditions, to get into and stay in work.

The Health and Safety Executive have published guidance which will help those employing disabled people to understand their health and safety responsibilities.
