Ernie Cox, previous DPF Treasurer, has died aged 86. Ernie was a past Treasurer of the Defence Police Federation from 1978 until he retired from the Force in 1984. Prior to amalgamation he was a member of the air force departmental constabulary.
Ernie who lived in Bedford had not enjoyed the best of health for some considerable time and passed away on Friday 16th August.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday 4th September at 1pm at Kettering Crematorium, Northamptonshire.
