It is with great sadness that the Defence Police Federation informs the membership that Ritchie Walls sadly passed away in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday 5 May 2015.
Ritchie was stationed at Marchwood prior to his retirement in June 2014.
Ritchie was the Deputy Branch Rep at Marchwood and prior to this was the Branch Rep at Boscombe Down prior to its closure to MDP.
Ritchie is survived by his wife Janice and children James, Gareth, Liam and Rhiannon.
The DPF wishes to pass on our sincerest condolences to Ritchie’s wife Janice and their children.
Funeral Details
The funeral for Ritchie Walls is on Wednesday 20th May 2015 at 1500 hours.
The service will take place at Bournemouth Crematorium, Strouden Avenue BH8 9HX
The family have requested family flowers only but donations can be made to the Acorns Children Hospice in Birmingham.
If members wish to wear uniform (tunic) then that would be appreciated.
Details for the wake after the ceremony have yet to be confirmed.
