Obituary - Wally Boreham, former Chief Constable, MDP

Former Chief Constable Wally Boreham has died at his home in Brisbane, Australia. He had been ill for some time.

Wally's police career started on 2nd November 1959 when he joined the Metropolitan Police. He went on to serve for 34 years attaining the rank of Deputy Assistant Commissioner.

On leaving the Mets he joined the MDP in December 1994 as Chief Constable. Wally retired from the Force in October 2000 and later emigrated with his wife Anne to Brisbane in Australia.
