Obituary - Terry Appleby

On Sunday the 19th October 2008, retired officer Terry Appleby died. Terry served at Bentley Prior, RAF Boulmer, Collafirth Hill, NATO FSS Brizlee Wood and Feltham Station.

He retired in the rank of Inspector in January 2004 having served nearly 41 years in the force. Throughout his long career Terry received the Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal and the Queens Silver Jubilee Medal.

The funeral took place at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth, Northumberland on Monday 27th October 2008 and a service celebrating Terry's life was held in Lesbury Parish Church, which many friends and former colleagues attended.
