Obituary - David Ansley

Retired member David Ansley died from prostate cancer on 22nd February 2011 aged 62 years.

David joined the MDP in the 70's and served at many Stations during his career including Beith and Coulport. On promotion to Sergeant he served as SPO at both Lakenheath and Mildenhall. He later achieved the rank of Inspector serving at HQMDP Wethersfield as the Force's Crime Prevention Officer. David was medically retired from the Force in 1999.

On retirement David and his wife Veronica moved to Gatehouse of Fleet, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.

David's funeral service was held on 1st March 2011.
