London Allowance

The Department has proposed to pay MDP officers serving in London, who joined after 1 September 1994 and are not in receipt of housing allowance, a new allowance of £3,327 per annum.

The allowance is non-pensionable and payable from 1 July 2000. We are currently in discussion with Force Management on the details regarding the terms and conditions of payment and anticipate this being concluded shortly.
