Diversity and Equality

Elaine Murphy has agreed to act as a point of contact on matters connected with diversity and equality.

Elaine is currently a member of the Northern Area Committee and stationed at DM Crombie.

As part of her remit Elaine will advise the NEC on issues affecting women in the MDP and closely monitor the work carried out by the Agency on the “Gender Agenda”. Elaine’s work will help ensure that the needs of women officers are fully taken into account so that their contribution and effectiveness is maximised.

This move reflects the DPF’s commitment to diversity and equality and the wider issues involved.
