Parliamentary Reception

As part of a public relations initiative the Management Committee held a reception at the House of Commons on 23 April.

The event was hosted by Bruce George, MP Chair of the Defence Select Committee.

Given recent parliamentary scrutiny into the force the aim was to meet with members of parliament and Lords and explain more fully about MDP’s current role. The Chief Constable and AMB members also attended.

Other similar type events will be held in the future.
