Rowan Associates
This company have issued a Circular to Branches dated "July 2008" advising that they offer a Travel Insurance Policy for DPF members. This document was not formulated by DPFHQ and it's content may cause some confusion to members in relation to insurance cover supported on members' behalf.
There is no formal agreement for Rowan Associates to provide such travel insurance on behalf of the DPF.
Our current insurance provider remains as Philip Williams who offer a comprehensive insurance package - including, but not solely, travel insurance - for a monthly return. Details of this scheme can be found on the DPF website.
I have instructed the administrators not to process any applications for the unauthorised secondary scheme.
Branch Representatives are requested to withdraw the Rowan Associates documentation from circulation with immediate effect.
