Northern Police Convalescent and Treatment Centre (NPCTC)
I can now confirm that membership of the Northern Police Convalescent and Treatment Centre (separately located at Harrogate and Auchterarder) is open to DPF membership.
The NPCTC is a registered charity which aims to provide subscribing officers with a physiotherapy, recuperative and treatment service to aid return to better health.
DPF has determined the most cost effective way for members to subscribe as outlined below:-
Members may subscribe by requesting a form from DPF HQ or by contacting the relevant Area Support Officer. It is necessary to evidence you are subscribing to the Charity as pay-slips only indicate a deduction through "Give As You Earn". Thus you should highlight on the application form that you are content for your details to be released to the Charity.
The subscription cost has been agreed as £4.60 per member per calendar month.
Anyone requiring further information should contact the Northern JBB Secretary direct on 01436 674321 option #2 ext 4335.
It should be noted, that applications to attend either of the centres for treatment can be obtained from the respective Area Support Officer who will then forward this for process via the Support Liaison Officer.
