DPF Branch Representatives are reminded that when referring a member to the PFOA, in the first instance the referral should be made via the DPF Welfare Officer Claire Batt or one of the Area Secretaries. In all instances for audit purposes a brief of any help received / organised needs to be copied to the DPF Welfare Officer – email@example.com

In all instances internal assistance to members should be exhausted within Force before making a referral to the PFOA for counselling / coaching / medical fast tracking.
The PFOA’s 24/7 Welfare Assistance line can be utilised by members of the DPF, however the individuals full contact details need to be registered with the PFOA before the individual can use the service.
