Conference

Early in the year the Northern, Mid-West and Southern Joint Branch Boards (JBBs) hold an Annual Meeting of Branch Representatives (AMBR) in their respective areas. At these meetings, a DPF member at every Branch (or Station) is elected to represent the views of their members; the Branch Representatives discuss proposals, and make up the voting delegates, for the forthcoming Conference.

The JBB Secretaries are responsible for collating the proposals and submitting them to the Conference Arrangements and Standing Orders Committee (CASOC). CASOC oversee the proposals (or motions), and adherence to the Rules and Constitution of the DPF in addition to the overall organisation of Annual Conference.

If the majority of delegates vote in favour of a motion at Conference, it will mandated for action by the National Executive Committee (NEC). The NEC assists the JBB Secretaries with managing the affairs of the Federation between conferences.

Please see our Events page for details of this year's Conference. Any member of the Defence Police Federation is entitled to attend the Annual Conference as a guest at their own expense; however they shall have no voting rights.
